Safety at Brazos Masonry, Inc. is not a goal, it is a journey! We will never get to a point where “we have arrived” or where there is no more room for improvement. We have made many changes since our inception and will continue to do so in order to build a culture of safety on our projects.

Part of our journey in safety is to continue improving the Policy and Procedure component of safety, which is absolutely necessary. The second part of our safety journey is to instill safety into the hearts of our employees. We work toward this by showing true concern for the well being of our employees. Weekly newsletters recognizing a “Safe Employee of the Week” and “Safe Employee of the Month” combined with our annual Safety Banquet encourages safe practices. The Safety Banquet is concluded each year by presenting the grand prize of $10,000; given to the Superintendent with the best safety performance of the year.

Brazos Masonry Superintendents have received OSHA 10 Hour Training and most are qualified in CPR/First Aid and undergo continuing education through the year.
